Spiritual Significance :
Muktinath is one of the 108 Divya Desams (holy abodes of Lord Vishnu) in Hinduism, believed to grant salvation and break the cycle of rebirth for devotees.​
Buddhists regard Muktinath as a meditation site of Guru Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche), making it a sacred destination for spiritual enlightenment and energy.​
Pilgrims from both faiths come to bathe in the 108 water spouts (Mukti Dhara) and two holy ponds, which are believed to wash away sins and provide spiritual purification.
